Turkish Airlines subsidiary carrier AJet has signed a long-term lease agreement with Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE) to acquire 10 new Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft. On December 3, 2025, DAE confirmed that AJet, which launched in 2024 after AnadoluJet was rebranded, would receive the new Boeing 737-8 jets between 2026 and 2027. A US Air Force Thunderbirds F-16C Fighting Falcon crashed on December 3, 2025, during a training mission over California, with the pilot ejecting safely, according to Nellis Air Force Base. The pilot is now in a stable condition. Nellis AFB said the incident occurred at approximately 10:45. local time during a routine training mission over controlled airspace. TAP Air Portugal is joining the growing ranks of airlines that are introducing a Premium Economy product. The Portuguese flag carrier announced on December 3, 2025, that it will be introducing a new cabin which will bridge the gap between business and economy class onboard its Airbus A330neo and A321LR aircraft. The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) will require Boeing to divest significant Spirit AeroSystems assets to address antitrust concerns related to its $8.3 billion acquisition of Spirit. In a statement on December 3, 2025, the FTC said Boeing must divest Spirit operations that provide aerostructures to Airbus and Composites Technology Research Malaysia (CTRM), a manufacturer of composite aerostructures, including all essential assets and personnel. Under the proposed consent order, the FTC will require Boeing to offer transitional support to these manufacturers to help them in manufacturing various products. Switzerland-based seaplane developer Jekta unveiled on December 3, 2025, a 1:9 scale model of its future PHA-ZE 100 fully electric amphibious aircraft. This subscale model is already being used to perform flight tests in an undisclosed location in Italy. Data collected during those tests will guide the further development of the PHA-ZE 100.
