The introduction of Lufthansa’s new Allegris cabin concept hasn’t been without drama, to put it mildly. Over the past several months, Lufthansa’s biggest issue has been with its new Boeing 787s, as the airline has struggled to get its new business class seats certified. In October 2025, we saw the new Dreamliners enter commercial service, though with most business class seats blocked. Lufthansa has been trying to get these seats certified ASAP, and while the airline was expecting they would be certified soon, there’s now a big, positive update! Most of Lufthansa’s new 787 Allegris business class seats are now…

Israel said it destroyed an aircraft used by Iran’s late Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, in an overnight strike at Tehran’s Mehrabad Airport, in what would mark the end of a high-profile state asset as the war entered its third week. Reuters reported on March 16, 2026, that the Israeli military said it had struck the aircraft overnight at the airport and described it as a plane used by senior Iranian officials and military figures for domestic and international travel. The claim remains based primarily on Israeli military statements. Reuters attributed the report directly to the Israeli military and said…
Vietnam’s aviation industry is bracing for potential flight cuts beginning in April 2026 after China and Thailand halted exports of refined fuel products, squeezing a country that depends heavily on imported jet fuel and raising the risk of disruptions across domestic and regional networks. Reuters reported that Vietnamese authorities have warned airlines to prepare for possible reductions, with the heaviest pressure likely to fall on domestic routes if supplies tighten further. The developing fuel crunch highlights how the Iran war is now rippling far beyond the Middle East, hitting airline operations in Asia through a combination of physical supply constraints and sharply higher prices. Vietnam…
