Brazilian airline Gol Linhas Aéreas Inteligentes (GOL) has confirmed Lisbon Humberto Delgado International Airport (LIS) and Paris-Charles de Gaulle (CDG) as its first European destinations.  This announcement follows the Brazilian low-cost carrier move to secure five Airbus A330-900neo widebody aircraft on lease through its parent company, Abra Group. A drone strike hit Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait on March 15, 2026, destroying a remotely piloted Italian aircraft sheltered at the facility but causing no injuries among Italian personnel, according to Italy’s Chief of the Defense General Staff, General Luciano Portolano. The base hosts both Italian and US personnel and capabilities.   No injuries, but a key asset lost  Portolano said the drone struck a shelter housing an aircraft from Italy’s Task Force Air, and that the aircraft was destroyed. The Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) and the Royal New Zealand Air Force (RNZAF) have deployed their P-8A Poseidon aircraft to Andersen Air Force Base (UAM) in Guam to participate in Exercise Sea Dragon 2026, a United States Navy-led, multinational anti-submarine warfare (ASW) training activity. LATAM Airlines has confirmed it will pass the 400 aircraft mark in 2026.  On March 12, 2026, the Latin American carrier provided an update on its fleet growth plans for the next two years.  If in 2025, LATAM received 26 new aircraft, bringing the total to 371 by the year end.
