Emirates has ordered eight additional Airbus A350-900 aircraft at the Dubai Airshow 2025, expanding its long-term commitment to the type as the airline continues to renew and diversify its widebody fleet. The agreement, valued at US$3.4 billion at list prices, increases Emirates’ total A350-900 backlog to 73 units. flydubai has confirmed plans to launch a brand-new Premium Economy product onboard its new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner fleet. Uzbekistan Airways saw a busy second day at the Dubai Airshow after signing two agreements with two Chinese lessors to acquire a total of six new Airbus A321neo aircraft. First up on November 18, 2025, was the announcement that Uzbekistan Airways had signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with the Chinese leasing company ICBC Aviation. On Tuesday, November 18th, the CEO of Canadian Airline Westjet, Alexis von Hoensbroech told Reuters that the carrier still expects to receive the Boeing 737 MAX 10 by the end of 2026. The long-awaited stretch version of Boeing’s latest and greatest 737 series is past due to enter production. Boeing has completed design and engineering relating to a new engine anti-ice system for the Boeing 737 MAX.
