A federal appeals court has temporarily blocked a US Department of Transportation order requiring Delta Air Lines and Aeroméxico to unwind their long-running transborder joint venture, giving both carriers a reprieve as they challenge the DOT order.  A three-judge panel of the US Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit granted an emergency stay, allowing the airlines to continue operating under their partnership while the court reviews the case. Etihad Airways has unveiled a major expansion of its Airbus fleet at the Dubai Airshow 2025, signing commitments for 32 additional widebody aircraft and securing 13 more jets through a leasing agreement with Avolon.
