Also: MOSAIC Visionaries To Gather, Rotax Bulletin, SimVenture, Mont Blanc Wingsuit Record CubCrafters has introduced the Carbon Cub ULT, a turbine-powered evolution of its Carbon Cub UL platform. The aircraft blends lightweight sport aviation simplicity with modern turboprop capability and full FADEC control. Designed for the MOSAIC era, it marks a notable step in the evolution of recreational backcountry aviation. The aircraft is powered by the TurboTech TP-R90 regenerative turbine engine developed by TurboTech, pairing turboprop smoothness with simplified operation and efficiency comparable to it’s gasoline powered predecessor. Dynon has announced an integrated IFR GPS navigation solution for its SkyView HDX avionics platform, with simultaneous availability planned for both Certified and Experimental product lines. The new capability is expected to support full IFR operations, including coupled RNAV approaches with LPV minimums, while requiring no additional panel space through the use of a remotely mounted IFR module. Oshkosh never seems to want for interesting things to see and do.. but the folks at Hummel Aircraft are adding a bit of fun to their presence down in the light aircraft display area at the South End of Wittman Field. This year, they are going to build an entire Hummel UltraCruiser in their booth, in front of God and everybody, during the week of AirVenture 2026… and better yet, they’re inviting people from around the Sport Aviation world to join in. All this — and MORE in today’s episode of Airborne!!!
