Global air charter specialist Chapman Freeborn, part of Avia Solutions Group, the world’s largest ACMI (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, and Insurance) provider, successfully managed three charter flights transporting close to 300 tons of solar panels. The full-capacity flights, which used Boeing 777F aircraft belonging to Qatar Airways and Silk Way West Airways, were all made within one week to enable importers to secure stock in Turkey before a change to taxes on solar panels. Satair, a subsidiary of Airbus, announced that it has forged a strategic alliance with Philippine low-cost carrier Cebu Pacific at the 2025 MRO Asia Pacific event hosted by Aviation Week.  The long-term partnership encompasses Satair’s Integrated Material Services (IMS) solution, which will provide complete expendable material management and supply chain oversight for Cebu Pacific’s entire operational fleet, which includes the Airbus A320 family aircraft and the widebody A330 series.
