Boeing and the UK Ministry of Defense have confirmed a landmark agreement. In 2026, two prototypes of the U.S. Air Force’s upcoming E-7A Wedgetail airborne early warning aircraft will be assembled in the United Kingdom, as reported by Air Force Technology. The work will be performed by STS Aviation in Birmingham, and this marks the first time in over 50 years that the UK will build military aircraft under contract for the USAF. The families of four passengers who died in the accident involving Air India Flight 171 have launched a class action lawsuit against planemaker Boeing, along with Honeywell, citing negligence and a faulty fuel cutoff switch for the accident. Poland has determined that a Polish missile fired at a Russian drone was responsible for damage to a house during a recent air raid.  An investigation was launched to identify the nature of the projectile that struck a residential property in the village of Wyryki-Wola, located in Włodawa County, Lublin Voivodeship, overnight between September 9 and 10, 2025.
