Three brand new LOT Polish Airlines Boeing 737 MAX 8 jets are on route to Warsaw, Poland, after departing Seattle Boeing Field (BFI) together.

The three new aircraft left the famous Boeing facility on January 21, 2026, around 17:00, local time, and stopped off at Keflavik International Airport (KEF) in Iceland after an eight-hour flight.

The latest Boeing 737-8s to join LOT Polish Airlines are currently making their way to Warsaw Chopin Airport (WAW) where all three aircraft are due to arrive on January 22, 2026, around 18:30.

The three jets, registered SP-LYB, SP-LYD, and SP-LYE, were spotted on Flightradar24 flying in formation as they flew over Greenland.

With all three Boeing 737s flying together, there will no doubt be extra special celebrations to mark the unique event.

The Boeing 737 MAX 8s feature a new cabin interior inspired by Poland with “subtle light, modern design, and warm hues of the setting sun”.

The first Boeing 737 MAX 8, registered SP-LYA, with the new cabin joined LOT’s fleet before Christmas and took its first flight from Warsaw to Madrid at the start of January 2026.

The cabin seats were manufactured in Poland by RECARO and the cabin design was developed by the British agency Tangerine

There’s a LOT going on over the Atlantic today. Dad jokes aside, @LOTPLAirlines is taking delivery of three brand new 737 MAX, flying in formation from Seattle to Warsaw, via Keflavik.

“As Poland’s national carrier, we consistently design the travel experience to reflect the very best of Poland. The cabin design, like our airport spaces, draws inspiration from the native landscape and aesthetics. The color palette—deep blues and warm amber accents—creates a calming atmosphere, while the deliberate use of lighting promotes relaxation and comfort,” said Izabela Leszczyńska, Director of Product Development and Customer Experience at LOT Polish Airlines

She added: “The new interior layout is not just an aesthetic change; it is part of a cohesive strategy to provide passengers with an exceptional experience. We invite you to discover the comfort of traveling with LOT Polish Airlines.”

According to ch-aviation, LOT currently has 17 active 737-8s in its fleet and is awaiting delivery of 10 more, including the three aircraft currently in transit.

LOT selected Airbus over Embraer for a new regional fleet with an order for up to 84 A220s at Paris Air Show 2025.

The firm order comprised 20 A220-100s and 20 A220-300s, with the option to purchase 44 more planes in the future.
