Qatar Airways has revealed changes to its winter 2025-2026 schedule, increasing flights to Kuala Lumpur, Lagos, Shanghai, and Singapore to meet the global demand on these routes.

In a statement released on November 23, 2025, the airline said the rise in flight frequency is part of its larger winter schedule improvements, which have already added more flights to over 15 major destinations, including Cape Town, Dublin, London, Phuket, and Toronto.

The airline also said it is continuing to enhance connectivity through Hamad International Airport (DOH), having added nearly 3,000 flights in 2025 to meet growing travel demand.

More weekly flights to Asia and Africa

As part of the expanded winter schedule, Qatar flights to Kuala Lumpur (KUL) will increase from 14 to 17 weekly flights, beginning December 17, 2025. The new services will provide smooth connections between Southeast Asia and Jeddah, London, and Paris via Doha.

From December 15, 2025, until March 28, 2026, Qatar Airways’ services to Lagos (LOS) will grow from 10 to 14 weekly flights. The airline stated that the increased frequency improves connectivity between Nigeria and its extensive global network of over 170 destinations.

Meanwhile, from January 1, 2026, to March 28, 2026, the carrier said services to Shanghai (PVG) will increase from seven to 10 weekly flights. This rise in frequency will further improve connectivity between Asia and Qatar’s key destinations, including Algiers, São Paulo, and Warsaw.

Lastly, starting January 12, 2026, Qatar will use the Airbus A380 on selected flights to Singapore, offering “enhanced capacity and an elevated premium experience”.
