Korean Air is demonstrating its expanding aerospace capabilities at Drone Show Korea 2026, Asia’s largest drone exhibition featuring over 300 companies at Busan Exhibition and Convention Center.

During Asia’s leading drone exhibition, the airline will be presenting artificial intelligence-powered unmanned aerial vehicles and advanced air mobility technologies.

The South Korean flag carrier is participating in the three-day event running February 25-27, 2026 at Busan Exhibition and Convention Center, alongside organizations from 23 countries.

Exhibition zones

For this year’s exhibit, Korean Air has two areas of display. The Drone Zone features the domestic debut of an AI-powered subsonic UAV developed in collaboration with US defense tech company Anduril Industries. The zone also showcases AI-powered multi-purpose UAVs, loitering munitions, communication relay drones, and aircraft Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul capabilities based on drone swarm technologies.

The other area is the AAM Zone which displays Korean Air’s proprietary operations and traffic control platform, ACROSS (Air Control and Routing Orchestrated Skyway System), along with a mockup of an electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft from strategic partner Archer Aviation.

Technology seminars

Aside from the exhibit, Korean Air is also hosting technology seminars throughout the event. On February 25, 2026, the company presented its UAV capabilities and technology roadmap.

On February 26, 2026, the airline will participate in a joint AAM seminar with Archer Aviation, followed by memorandum of understanding signing ceremonies with global AAM partners.

“Drone Show Korea provides an important opportunity to demonstrate Korean Air’s expanding capabilities in AI-driven software and next-generation aerospace technologies,” said a Korean Air representative. “We remain committed to evolving into a world-class comprehensive aerospace company by continuously pushing the boundaries of aviation innovation.”

Event details

Drone Show Korea 2026 is Asia’s largest drone exhibition, featuring over 300 companies showcasing advanced drone technology, defense systems, and urban air mobility. The event will run until February 27, 2026, at BEXCO in Busan, with separate drone light shows taking place at Gwangalli Beach and Ttukseom Hangang Park.

Korean Air’s participation highlights the company’s growing focus on physical AI and smart mobility innovation as it expands beyond traditional airline operations into comprehensive aerospace technologies.
