Hawaiian Airlines is set to resume its seasonal service to New Zealand, with three-weekly flights between Honolulu’s Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL) and Auckland Airport (AKL) starting  November 16, 2025.

The seasonal route will operate through the end of April 2026, providing travelers with better connectivity between New Zealand and Hawaii, as well as single-connection options to destinations across the US.

The seasonal route will be operated using Hawaiian Airlines’ 278-seat Airbus A330 aircraft on the route, with complimentary high-speed Starlink Wi-Fi connectivity throughout the cabin.

“Our seasonal flights operate during the Southern Hemisphere summer, when New Zealand comes alive with warm weather and blooming nature — ideal for exploring vineyard havens like Marlborough and Hawkes Bay or tackling any of the country’s 11 iconic Great Walks — while also providing ample connectivity throughout the busy holiday season,” Hawaiian Airlines said.

“We know Kiwi travelers have long awaited the return of our seasonal service, and our crews are thrilled to welcome them onboard once again with the authentic hospitality and care for which Hawaiian Airlines is known,” Andrew Stanbury, Regional Director of the South Pacific for Hawaiian Airlines and Alaska Airlines said.

“Now, thanks to the strength of our combined global network, every guest flying from Hawaiʻi, the U.S. mainland and New Zealand will have more options than ever to explore the world,” Stanbury added.

The flights are scheduled to operate in the following times:

  • MWF: Flight HA 845 depart Honolulu 13:15 local time arrive Auckland 21:20 local time (the following day)

T TH S: Flight HA 846 depart Auckland 23:30 local time arrive Honolulu 09:20 local time (same day)
