Airbus Helicopters has opened a new, 2,000-square-meter regional logistics hub in Singapore. The facility is designed to accelerate spare parts delivery across 21 countries and territories in Asia-Pacific. The facility, which was inaugurated on February 2, 2026, was launched with €10 million (US $11.9) in initial inventory. Philippine Airlines (PAL) has extended its maintenance outsourcing agreement with Airbus to cover all 63 of its European-built aircraft. The expansion marks a significant growth in the partnership that began eight years ago. The Philippine flag carrier signed the extended Flight Hour Services contract at a ceremony in Singapore, bringing its entire Airbus fleet under the manufacturer’s “Power-by-the-Hour” maintenance model.
