Singapore Airlines adds more Amsterdam frequencies as European demand grows

Singapore Airlines has announced plans to increase its flight frequencies between Singapore and Amsterdam to 10 services per week from August 1 through October 22, 2026, adding to its current daily operations on the route.

The expansion comes in response to strong demand for travel between the Asia-Pacific region and Europe.

Additional flights

The new frequencies will see flight SQ334 depart Singapore Changi Airport (SIN) for Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AMS) on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 11:10 local time, arriving at 18:35 local time. The return service, flight SQ333, will depart Amsterdam on the aforementioned days at 20:35 local time, arriving in Singapore at 15:40 local time the following day.

The additional flights will be operated using the long-haul variant of the Airbus A350-900.

Singapore Airlines’ existing daily service on the route will continue, with Flight SQ324 departing Singapore at 23:55 local time, arriving in Amsterdam at 07:15 local time the next day. The return flight, SQ323, departs Amsterdam at 10:20 local time and arrives in Singapore at 05:30 local time the following day.

From July 1 to October 24, 2026, these daily flights will operate on the Boeing 777-300ER.

Long-term potential in Amsterdam

Dai Haoyu, Senior Vice President of Marketing Planning at Singapore Airlines, noted that the airline sees long-term potential in the Amsterdam route.

“Amsterdam has an important role in our broader European network,” Dai said. “This increase in frequencies reflects our confidence in the route’s long-term potential, and we will seek opportunities to extend it beyond October 2026.”

Part of broader European push

The Amsterdam expansion is part of a wider effort by Singapore Airlines to strengthen its European network. Recent enhancements include a new five times weekly service to Madrid via Barcelona; increased, now-daily frequencies to Manchester and Milan; boosting Munich services to 10 times per week; and a move to double daily operations at London Gatwick.

The additional connectivity through Singapore should give travelers more options and improved onward connections across Europe.

Tickets for the new Amsterdam services went on sale on May 25, 2026, through Singapore Airlines’ booking channels.
