Save $100 On Marriott Hotel Stay With Amex Offers Deal (Targeted)

The Amex Offers program often has promotions that can save you money on hotel stays. We sometimes see offers with Hilton and Marriott, since these are also Amex co-brand credit card partners, though the offers don’t seem to be as frequent as in the past.

So there’s an update, as we’ve just seen a great new Amex Offers deal introduced for Marriott stays, which should save a lot of people some money.

Spend $400+ with Marriott, get $100 back

The Amex Offers program has just rolled out at least one new targeted promotion that can save cardmembers money on the cost of Marriott stays. Specifically, I see an opportunity to receive a $100 statement credit after spending $400+ with Marriott (though it’s possible other accounts see different offers).

As you’d expect, there are some terms to be aware of:

  • This offer is valid if you pay for your stay between April 8 and July 22, 2026
  • This offer is valid for stays at properties in the United States, the Caribbean, Canada, and Mexico
  • This offer excludes stays at select brands, including Ritz-Carlton, St. Regis, EDITION, The Luxury Collection, W Hotels, JW Marriott, Marriott Vacation Club, Design Hotels, Protea Hotels by Marriott, Marriott Executive Apartments, Homes & Villas by Marriott Bonvoy, and Vistana
  • This offer excludes gift card purchases, online retail purchases, and purchases of Bonvoy points
  • The terms state that you need to book directly with Marriott to take advantage of this
  • This can be combined with any promotion being offered directly by Marriott
  • Registration is required

Make sure to maximize points while you’re at it

When it comes to Amex Offers deals, I always recommend trying to add them on cards that also offer you the best rewards on those particular purchases. For example, ideally you’ll see these offers on a co-branded Marriott card, so that you can earn 6x points on your stay, while also earning cash back. Or otherwise, at least use a card that offers bonus points on travel purchases, which include hotels.

Also keep in mind that it’s possible to split card payments at check-out. So if you have a certain spending threshold you still need to reach on a specific card, you can always ask them to charge one amount to one card, and another amount to another card.

Bottom line

There’s a new Amex Offers deal for Marriott, which can save you $100 on the cost of upcoming hotel stays. This offer seems to exclude Marriott’s higher end brands, so it should be useful across a wide variety of properties. If you’re eligible for this offer, I’d definitely recommend registering ASAP.

Was your account targeted for this Amex Offers deal, and do you plan on taking advantage of it?
