Rosewood Hotels Selling Gift Cards With 10% Bonus: Worth It?

If you have any upcoming stays with luxury hotel group Rosewood, here’s an opportunity to save a bit of money…

Buy Rosewood gift cards with a bonus

Through January 5, 2026, Rosewood Hotels & Resorts is selling gift cards with a 10% bonus. This promotion kicks in if you spend at least $500 on a gift card. Each e-gift can be for up to $2,000, and you can get up to $10,000 worth of gift cards per transaction. When you make the purchase, be sure that you see the 10% bonus reflected.

Rosewood gift cards don’t expire, and can be used at any participating property managed by Rosewood at the time of redemption to pay for charges including accommodations, dining, spa services, and any incidental charges directly charged by the property. However, gift cards may not be applied retroactively to pay for amounts already paid or charged in connection with prior bookings.

These gift cards can be used globally, and per the terms, when paying for a stay in a currency other than USD, the current exchange rate published by Oanda will be used to calculate the card value in local currency.

Rosewood is offering a 10% bonus on gift card purchases

Are hotel gift card offers like this worth it?

Under what circumstances does it make sense to buy a Rosewood gift with a bonus? While a 10% bonus is better than nothing, we’re not talking about a 20% or 50% bonus here, so this isn’t going to massively reduce the cost of a Rosewood stay.

Obviously one should only consider this promotion if they have a Rosewood stay coming up, ideally in the near future (you wouldn’t want to buy it if you only stay at a Rosewood every few years, since you’re paying now, and basically giving Rosewood an interest free loan).

There are a few other things to keep in mind:

  • I’m not sure how Rosewood gift card purchases are processed, but odds are that it won’t count as hotel spending, so you might want to use the best card for everyday spending, rather than the best card for hotel spending
  • Sometimes there’s a hassle factor to using gift cards, with front desk agents not being too familiar with how to use them; that’s not a huge issue, but it could make the check-out process a bit longer
  • If you’re traveling for business, it can add a bit of complexity to expense something if redeeming a gift card rather than paying with a business card, for example

If you have a Rosewood stay coming up in the near future, it could absolutely be worth taking advantage of this, as a 10% bonus is better than nothing. However, this isn’t some deal that I’d be rushing to use otherwise.

Bottom line

For a limited time, Rosewood is selling gift cards with a 10% bonus. If you have any stays coming up with the luxury hotel group, then this offer is at least worth considering.

Do you plan on taking advantage of this Rosewood gift card deal?
