Hong Kong 747 Crash: What Is Known So Far And What Comes Next?

On October 20th, 2025 tragedy struck at Hong Kong International Airport when an ACT Airlines-operated Boeing 747-400 freighter veered off the north runway after landing. Operating Emirates SkyCargo flight EK9788, the jumbo jet struck a patrol vehicle as it veered. This collision then sent the aircraft tumbling into the sea.
