One person is reportedly injured after a pair of Bombardier CRJ900s made contact at LaGuardia Airport in New York on Wednesday. The incident happened just before 22:00 EST, involving the right wing of one plane striking the nose of the other. The planes, both operated by Delta Air Lines’ wholly-owned regional subsidiary Endeavor Air under the Delta Connection brand, collided while taxiing at low speeds.

Simple Flying contacted the airline for more details, but a representative could not be immediately reached. With the accident quickly garnering attention on social media, the respective flights operated by the regional jets became among the top 5 tracked flights in the world on Flightradar24.
