Best Western Rewards isn’t the most generous loyalty program out there, and for that matter, Best Western doesn’t have that many aspirational properties. However, the program does pretty consistently offer promotions. Best Western has just launched its winter promotion, and it has the potential to be quite rewarding.
Best Western Rewards’ winter promotion is now open for registration, valid for stays between December 1, 2025, and February 1, 2026. With this promotion, you can earn 5,000 bonus points for every two nights stayed, up to 20,000 bonus points.
There are some more things to be aware of:
- Registration is required prior to your first eligible stay (though it’s fine if you booked before registering)
- This promotion is open to Best Western Rewards members regardless of where they live, though only stays in the United States, Canada, or the Caribbean, qualify
- Eligible stays include those booked directly with Best Western at non-special discounted rates
- The two nights can be consecutive or separate, so one stay of two nights or two stays of one night would qualify
- Bonus points will post to an account within two weeks of completing an eligible stay
You’ll see that the promotion is marketed as offering $25 off a Best Western after staying two nights. However, that’s only one of the ways you can redeem your points, as there’s a lot more flexibility beyond that.
How rewarding is this Best Western promotion?
Best Western Rewards ordinarily awards 10x points per dollar spent. Personally I value Best Western points at somewhere around 0.5 cents each, meaning you typically earn a 5% return on your Best Western spending. This doesn’t include the rewards you’d earn for credit card spending, plus any bonus rewards you’d earn if you have elite status with Best Western Rewards (and the program has a generous status match offer).
With this offer, you can earn the equivalent of 2,500 bonus points per night, in the right increments, and with a cap. I value 2,500 points at $12.50, so that’s a decent incremental return, given that many Best Western properties are quite reasonably priced.
