… And Silence/Ignorance/Inaction Is No Longer Acceptable — Dedicated To Every Aviator Wannabe, Every Struggling Aviator Of Today, And Those Who Left… But Long To Return News/Analysis/Opinion By James R Campbell, ANN CEO and Editor-In-Chief I have been experiencing and anticipating a few milestones of late… a few days back, I celebrated my 55th year since a very cold glider solo at the age of 14, all this, while currently trying to close the less than 100 hour gap between my current flight time and a long anticipated 20,000th flight hour. The gamut of experiences has been substantial and inspiring… mostly. For most of my life, aviation represented something rare: freedom earned through discipline, community built through shared responsibility, and opportunity created by people willing to work, learn, and accept risk in pursuit of something extraordinary. That aviation is disappearing.
