Emirates announced it has spent AED 85 million ($23 million USD) installing more than 200 biometric cameras throughout Terminal 3 at Dubai International Airport (DXB).  The installation now allows passengers to move through check-in, immigration, boarding gates, and lounges using just facial recognition to go through checkpoints. No more passport or boarding passes required. The system, developed in partnership with Dubai’s General Directorate of Identity and Foreigner Affairs (GDRFAD), can recognize a registered passenger’s face from about three feet away, meaning travelers can be checked and processed while they are walking, eliminating the need to hand in traditional identification documents.…

FL Technics Indonesia, a maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) provider and part of FL Technics Group, has recently welcomed the first Boeing 737 MAX. The company obtained approval for performing maintenance of this type of aircraft in May 2025. The uniforms will be worn by over 65,000 employees, and are meant to further enhance Delta’s brand image as it celebrates its 100th anniversary in 2025. Airbus has been consistently outperforming its rival Boeing in 2025 but is still struggling to achieve its own goal of delivering 820 aircraft by the end of the year. The October delivery total of 78 aircraft does not bode well for the aerospace juggernaut’s chances of hitting its target. It was Bloomberg that reported the latest production output, putting Airbus at 585 total deliveries so far this year.
