A Ukrainian Mirage 2000-5F was shown with six Kh-101 ALCM kill markings in a rare close-up look at the French-supplied jet delivered earlier this year. A Ukrainian Air Force (UKrAF) French-made Mirage 2000-5F has been spotted with kill marks of what resemble Russian Kh-101 (X-101) long-range ALCM (Air-Launched Cruise Missile) in a Nov. 17, 2025, promotional video about the fighter. The UAE aerobatic team, Al Fursan, has introduced a new fleet of Hongdu L-15 jets at the Dubai Airshow 2025, after 15 years of flying the Aermacchi MB-339. A former Alaska Airlines captain, Joseph Emerson, will serve no additional prison time, much to the surprise of many industry analysts. Emerson attempted to shut off the engines of a Horizon Air flight in October 2023 while riding in the cockpit jump seat, and he is preparing to serve no additional prison time. A federal judge in Portland sentenced him to time served, three years of supervised release, 600 hours of community service, and $60,000 in restitution payments. President Donald Trump said the US will sell the advanced F-35 stealth fighter jet to Saudi Arabia, marking a significant shift in American defense policy in the Middle East.   “We’ll be selling the F-35s,” Trump told reporters on November 17, 2025.  The planned sale comes on the eve of the visit of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to the White House, further underscoring the strategic importance of Saudi Arabia to Washington. Virgin Atlantic has secured a $745 million loan from American asset management firm Apollo Global Management, using its takeoff and landing slots at London Heathrow Airport as collateral. The airline plans to use the funds to strengthen its balance sheet, notably using about $180 million of the funds to pay down a similar slot-secured loan it took out in 2015. Virgin Atlantic says it plans to use the remaining funds for major upgrades to its customer experience.
