Alaska Airlines has resumed operations following an IT outage that caused a system-wide halt of its flights across the United States, marking the second such incident for the airline within just a few months of 2025.  In a statement issued on October 24, 2025, the airline announced that the ground stop had been lifted at 23:30 local Pacific time, with all operations fully restored.  Since the afternoon of October 24, 2025, the airline reported over 229 flight cancellations.
