The move follows SpaceX’s merger with xAI, which pegged the rocket operator’s value at roughly $1 trillion and the AI startup at $250 billion. Washington State officially pulled the plug on its controversial 10% luxury tax on general and business aviation aircraft just hours before it was set to take effect.
