Ukraine has accused Russia of using the 9M729 ground-launched cruise missile, also known as the SSC-8 by NATO, in recent strikes, according to a Reuters report citing Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha. Another source said the missile has been fired at least 23 times since August 2025, marking what would be its first documented combat use.  Debris recovered near the village of Lapaiivka in western Ukraine reportedly matched the 9M729’s design. Korean Air has converted orders for seven Airbus A350-1000 aircraft placed in 2024 to the planemakers’ yet-to-be certified A350F next-generation freighter.  On October 31, 2025, Airbus confirmed that the composition of 33 A350s ordered by Korean Air in April 2024 had been changed.  Last year, the Korean flag carrier placed an order for 27 A350-1000s and six A350-900s in a move that the airline’s Chief Safety and Operating Officer, Jason Yoo, described as a “great fit” for its global network.   This order now comprises 20 A350-1000s, seven A350Fs, and six A350-900s, of which the first two have already been delivered. Asiana…

BERLIN — Germany and the United Kingdom will jointly procure a new generation of rapidly deployable floating bridges, the German military announced on Thursday. Dubbed Schwimmschnellbrücke 2 in German, the vehicles will be constructed by General Dynamics European Land Systems. They act as self-propelled all-wheel-drive vehicles that can either be daisy-chained to bridge bodies of water or used as ferries to move equipment from one shore to another.
