A humanitarian flight carrying hurricane relief supplies to Jamaica ended in tragedy on the morning of November 10, 2025, when a Beechcraft King Air B100 crashed shortly after takeoff from Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport (FXE), killing the two people on board.  Authorities identified the victims as Alexander Wurm, 53, and his daughter Serena Wurm, 22, of Ignite the Fire Ministry, an evangelical Christian organization based in South Florida. The business aircraft sales and acquisition firm Jetcraft is branching into the special missions market to source and prepare pre-owned aircraft for defense and governmental operators.  On November 10, 2025, the US-company announced the launch of its new division ‘Jetcraft Special Missions’ which will focus on aircraft for medevac, surveillance, aerial firefighting, military training, and Head of State transportation.  Known normally for aircraft transactions involving private jets manufactured by companies such as Gulfstream and Bombardier, Jetcraft said the new venture represented a “natural evolution”.  The company said that sourced aircraft will be delivered “as-is or in pre-modification condition to mission…
