AMAC Aerospace Switzerland AG has signed an Aircraft on Ground (AOG) Services agreement with Alpha Star, strengthening maintenance support for the Riyadh-based private aviation operator’s fleet. The deal was formalized during a signing ceremony at Alpha Star’s chalet at Dubai Airshow 2025. Boeing has completed design and engineering relating to a new engine anti-ice system for the Boeing 737 MAX. As reported by Aviation Week, the company is now working with the FAA to define a certification plan for the new system, which would be available from the factory for new Boeing 737 MAX deliveries and would also be retrofitted to existing aircraft. A federal appeals court has temporarily blocked a US Department of Transportation order requiring Delta Air Lines and Aeroméxico to unwind their long-running transborder joint venture, giving both carriers a reprieve as they challenge the DOT order.  A three-judge panel of the US Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit granted an emergency stay, allowing the airlines to continue operating under their partnership while the court reviews the case.
