A small unmanned surface vessel called the Lightfish made a new milestone for USVs when it arrived in Portugal just over two months after being launched by the U.S. Navy in June. The fully autonomous Lightfish is a small solar-powered craft manufactured by Seasats. Its solar panels operate and store energy even in cloudy weather, and the craft is equipped with a battery and generator that can extend its range for over 500 nautical miles in emergency situations. Ryanair is cutting all flights to and from the Azores, starting March 29, 2026. The airline claims that it has been “left with no choice” due to excessive airport fees and rising regulatory costs in Portugal, which it says make the routes unviable for its low-cost model. Textron Aviation has confirmed it will end production of the Beechcraft Bonanza G36 and Baron G58, drawing a close to nearly eight decades of continuous manufacturing for two of general aviation’s most recognizable piston aircraft.   The company said it will continue to support the tens of thousands of Bonanzas and Barons flying worldwide, as it shifts investment toward new products such as the single-engine turboprop Beechcraft Denali.  “As part of Textron Aviation’s product investment plan, the company will end production of the Beechcraft Baron G58 and Beechcraft Bonanza G36 models once all current orders are fulfilled,” the manufacturer confirmed in a statement after some…

You will know by now that JetBlue has added two more European routes. Next April, it’ll take off from Boston to Barcelona, followed by Boston to Milan in May. The latter is the troubled carrier’s new longest service. When other carriers are included, they were two of 13 new long-haul routes announced in just two days. Pilot Reported That He Purchased The Airplane Earlier That Day Analysis: The pilot reported that he purchased the airplane earlier that day and completed a condition inspection that afternoon.
