American Airlines’ AAdvantage program has just rolled out some status buy up offers, for those who are short of requalifying for status. A Turkish Airlines flight made an emergency landing in Barcelona after a passenger created a personal Wi-Fi hotspot named “I have a bomb,” triggering a security response and a thorough aircraft search by Spanish authorities.  The incident occurred on January 15, 2026, as Flight TK1853 was approaching Barcelona-El Prat Airport following a scheduled flight from Istanbul. The F-16 Fighting Falcon has been an important part of the Royal Danish Air Force since 1980, and will now pass the torch to the F-35A Lightning II. The Federal Aviation Administration has issued seven new Notices to Airmen (NOTAM) warning pilots and airlines of potential military activity and navigation risks across parts of Latin America and the eastern Pacific, urging operators to exercise added caution when flying through the affected airspace.  The NOTAMs, published on January 16, 2026, and set to expire in mid-March, cover multiple flight information regions off the coasts of Mexico, Panama, Colombia, and Ecuador, as well as large sections of the eastern Pacific Ocean. Following Touchdown, The Airplane Hit A Bump On The Runway And The Airplane To Become Airborne Again Analysis: The student pilot was performing a landing after a solo flight. He attempted to land on runway 27 twice but there were trucks on the runway. He performed a go-around and switched to runway 18 which is a turf/grass runway. Immediately following touchdown, the airplane hit a bump on the runway and the airplane to become airborne again.
