Aero Linx: Interstate Aviation Committee (IAC) The Interstate Aviation Committee (hereinafter – IAC) was established on the basis of the intergovernmental Agreement on Civil Aviation and Use of Airspace of 1991 (hereinafter Agreement) to coordinate the activities of the post-Soviet states in the field of civil aviation. IAC is a permanent interstate executive body responsible for the practical implementation of the Agreement and for ensuring the work of the Council on Aviation and Use of Airspace (hereinafter Council) and the implementation of its decisions. States parties to the Agreement participate in the work of IAC through their plenipotentiary representatives and monitor its activities.
