04.15.26: Jamail Larkins & AviationStart, Adjustable Av Mechanic’s Chair, WWII Vets Honored The Viking V-42 is an intriguing project… a twin offering 182 performance with 182 fuel specifics. Powered by Two Viking 175 Honda platforms. Jan Eggenfellner is forecasting 1000 mile range, 1200 fpm climb and 160 mph cruise speed. He hopes to have the basic machine flying by Oshkosh. The TBM series continues its evolutionary process with the latest upgrades, focusing on the operational side of the equation along with creature comforts. It’s been a popular breed, as TBM aircraft have accumulated more than 2.6 million flight hours, with repeat customers accounting for nearly half of the total… We caught up with Michael Goulian alongside Aura Aero’s aerobatic Integral R, two-seat, hotrod. Mike has been flying the bird quite a bit and has one on order for his own flight school.. Aura Aero is building US manufacturing facilities here in Florida to support the Integral program as well as some future transport aspirations. One of the more intriguing presentations at Monday’s Innovation Preview was the unveiling of the updated AeroCreeper. The Power-Lift G2 maintenance-oriented chair began out of necessity to help pilots and aircraft mechanics who suffer from hours of crouching, kneeling, bending and contorting to clean and maintain all areas of their aircraft. All this — and MORE in today’s episode of Airborne!!!
