In a 24-page statement of decision issued February 3, 2026, Judge Timothy Schmal granted the pilots association’s petitions for writ of mandate, declaratory relief, and injunctive relief… Spirit Airlines has made an agreement with creditors that will allow it to emerge from bankruptcy later this spring or early summer. The airline had ongoing losses and two bankruptcy filings, so the deal reached will allow it to survive as a smaller company. The former head of London’s AOG Technics will be spending four years and eight months in the can after admitting to having sold more than 60,000 fake aircraft engine parts into the global supply chain. The parts were primarily tied to the iconic CFM56 family engine, which powers upwards of 15,000 Airbus and Boeing aircraft worldwide. All this — and MORE in today’s episode of Airborne-Unlimited!!!
