Now it’s up to you, Congress, to move forward on bipartisan proposals that will get federal aviation workers—including TSA officers, U.S. Customs clearance officers at airports and air traffic controllers—paid during shutdowns.” Source: A collective letter issued as CEOs of America’s largest airlines have decided that they are done with Congress turning air travel into what they describe as a “political football.” They’re hoping to shame legislators into giving TSA workers their paychecks before the spring travel spike triggers out-the-door security lines.
