BGS extends SkyUp fuel supply deal across Baltic airports

Baltic Ground Services (BGS), a leading provider of ground handling and aircraft fueling services, has extended its long-term partnership with SkyUp Airlines, further strengthening cooperation across key Baltic airports.

Under the renewed agreement, BGS will continue to provide aviation fuel supply services at Tallinn (TLL), Riga (RIX), and Palanga (PLQ) airports. The contract will run from April 2026, supporting SkyUp MT’s ongoing charter operations in the region.

The partnership between BGS and SkyUp Airlines dates back to 2018, when the companies first began working together in Ukraine, where BGS provided into-plane fueling services across several airports. Following a temporary pause due to the war in Ukraine, cooperation was successfully re-established in 2022 as SkyUp Airlines shifted part of its operations to the Baltic region.

Since then, the partnership has continued to grow, with BGS supporting the airline’s expanding charter network and operational needs.

“Extending our cooperation with SkyUp Airlines, reflects the strength of a partnership built on reliability and mutual trust,” said Vitalis Dudys, BGS group Head of Commerce. “We have supported SkyUp Airlines, through different operational environments, and we are pleased to continue contributing to their growth in the Baltic region by ensuring consistent and efficient fueling services.”

“Reliable fuel supply is a critical component of our operations, particularly as we continue to expand our charter network across Europe,” said Larysa Fedun, Head of Charter Departament SkyUp Airlines. “BGS has consistently demonstrated the ability to adapt to our operational needs, making them a trusted partner in the Baltic region.”

SkyUp Airlines operates charter and ACMI services across Europe, with a growing presence in the Baltic market. The extended agreement ensures continuity of fuel supply at key locations, supporting the airline’s operational stability and flexibility.
