Bombardier and private jet charter firm Vista have signed a $300 million services agreement for the operator’s existing aircraft and upcoming Challenger 3500 fleets.

On April 20, 2026, the long-term partners announced that the agreement would center on Bombardier’s Smart Parts program which will provide Vista with a cost-per-flight hour framework to “maximize convenience and cost protection for parts”.

Vista said that the program will support sections of its existing fleet and future deliveries, including the majority of its Global 8000 fleet and the recent order of 40 firm and 120 optional Challenger 3500 aircraft.

Bombardier’s Smart Parts programs provide customers with cost coverage for component exchanges for major systems, avionics, tires, brakes, corrosion coverage and more.

As well as the Challenger 3500s, the agreement will support the majority of Vista’s Global 8000 fleet.

On April 15, 2026, Vista took possession of the first of 18 Bombardier Global 8000s as part of a fleet-wide upgrade to enhance its existing Global 7500s.

“This agreement marks an important step in further enhancing the reliability and performance of the Vista fleet, by leveraging this agreement, we are strengthening our ability to deliver a seamless and consistent experience to our clients around the world, ensuring that every Vista flight meets the highest standards of quality, safety and service that our clients expect,” said Nick van der Meer, CCO of Vista.

Vista added that the five-year services contract will “support higher aircraft availability and help to minimize any operational disruption”.

“Bombardier’s pioneering Smart Parts cost-per-flight-hour programs are designed to maximize flexibility, convenience and budget predictability, making it an ideal choice for our longstanding customer Vista,” said Paul Sislian, Executive Vice President, Aircraft Sales and Bombardier Aftermarket Services.

He added: “This services and support agreement with Vista leverages our Smart Parts programs and further deepens the relationship that exists between the two companies, providing cost protection for select models of Vista’s Challenger and Global aircraft.”
