Airbus Corporate Helicopters (ACH) has introduced its new ACH140 at VERTICON 2026 in Atlanta, US, with a mock-up display of the aircraft’s sleek cabin interior
Unveiling the model on March 9, 2026, Airbus described the ACH140 as a “refined” H140, specifically designed for “private and business missions”.
Details about the new executive helicopter come less than two weeks after Airbus unveiled the new ACH145 Mercedes-Benz Edition helicopter in São Paulo.
Airbus Corporate Helicopters said the line collection “showcases the brand-new design philosophy defined by a dynamic and sophisticated aesthetic, establishing a singular style which will gradually be rolled out across the ACH range.”
The ACH140 has been designed for up to six passengers and two pilots with panoramic views and increased cabin height. The aircraft comes with a new T-tail and five-bladed rotor.

“The ACH140 represents the birth of an icon,” said Frederic Lemos, Head of Airbus Corporate Helicopters. “The launch of this aircraft and our new brand design language for ACH Line, maximises the core benefits of the aircraft, including the exceptional cabin space, panoramic view, modular seating configurations and ergonomic design features.”
ACH partnered with Austrian interior innovators F/List and French outfitters Borghino on sections of the new cabin interior.
F/List designed and manufactured a custom-made cabinet for the cabin of the ACH140, “combining high-quality materials, ergonomic design, and craftsmanship”.

“The cabinet developed for the Airbus Helicopters ACH140 features a body with an elegant, silk-matt black lacquer finish. Two functional drawers with a dark gray textured surface underscore the balance between aesthetics and functionality,” said a spokesperson for F/List.
Airbus Helicopters introduced the H140 rotorcraft for emergency medical services at VERTICON 2025 in Dallas.
Airbus secures launch customers
ACH has secured launch customers from the United States (US), Europe and Brazil, with delivery expected in 2030.
These include launch customer Sweet Helicopters in the US, HTM in Germany and Columbia Aviation Holding in Brazil.

Chuck Surack from Sweet Helicopters, said: ““The H140 represents an exciting step forward in performance, innovation, and safety and at Sweet Helicopters we are always looking to the future of vertical aviation. The advanced design, efficiency, and versatility make it an outstanding addition to our fleet and will help us continue building a reputation for delivering exceptional service.”
He added: “Being a launch ACH140 customer reflects our commitment to investing in the best equipment available and continuing to lead in the helicopter industry.”
Oliver Risken, owner of HTM, commented: “For HTM’s operations, and for me as a pilot, the ACH140 brings together the benefits of additional space, versatility and pioneering technology in a compact footprint, while ensuring our customers benefit from the comfort, craftsmanship and style the ACH design provides. This is why, being the European launch customer for the ACH140 is a key milestone in our service offering.”

Finally, Ricardo Lacerda at Columbia Aviation, added: “Upgrading from the H135P3 to the H140 was a natural decision. Airbus has consistently delivered exceptional reliability and world-class operator support, and the H135/H145 platform is one of the most proven in the industry. With the H140, Airbus builds on that foundation with meaningful improvements in performance, technology, and comfort.”
