Embraer has signed an agreement in Dubai with South African carrier Airlink to support its new fleet of 10 Azorra leased E195-E2 jets.

On November 16, 2025, the eve of the Dubai Airshow, Embraer confirmed that Airlink had signed a Component Pool Program agreement to cover the new aircraft.

Airlink’s existing fleet of Embraer aircraft already benefit from Embraer’s Pool Program having been a customer of the Brazilian aircraft manufacturer since 2001.

“With the inclusion of the new E2s, the program will ultimately cover 78 aircraft, helping the carrier reduce fleet downtime and optimizing its operational reliability and availability,” said a spokesperson for Embraer.

In August 2025, Airlink confirmed it had finalized a lease agreement with Azorra to acquire 10 new Embraer E195-E2s.

Last month the South African airline said it had received the first three E195-E2s with entry into service scheduled for December 2025.

“Expanding the Embraer component inventory agreement to cover our new Embraer E195-E2s will provide us with the security we need as we deploy the aircraft. It will help us achieve the maximum operational, commercial and economic benefits we expect to derive from the new additions to our fleet,” said Airlink CEO, de Villiers Engelbrecht.

Embraer’s Pool Program offers component support to more than 60 airlines worldwide, leveraging the company’s technical expertise and extensive services network.

The program aims to offer “significant savings and economies in component repair and inventory holding costs” and “reduce warehousing needs, operating within a framework of guaranteed performance levels”.

“We are proud to support the E2 operations at Airlink, a flagship example of innovation and efficiency in regional aviation. Embraer deeply values the trust Airlink has placed in our aircraft and services, and we remain dedicated to empowering their success with the most advanced solutions in the industry,” said Carlos Naufel, President and CEO, Embraer Services & Support.

He added: “This Pool Program agreement reflects our commitment to operational excellence and reinforces Embraer’s role in supporting Airlink’s growth strategy in the region.”
