Air Canada has unveiled a new Disney ‘Zootopia 2’-themed livery on its Airbus A220 aircraft, which will operate flights to various destinations in Canada and the United States.

In a statement released on November 6, 2025, the airline announced that the Disney-themed aircraft will serve cities including Montreal, Toronto, Ottawa, Vancouver, Los Angeles, New York LaGuardia, Denver, and Boston across both countries.

“This special livery is an exciting addition to our broader Disney relationship. It reminds us that travel, like storytelling, is about imagination, connection, and a little bit of magic,” said Andy Shibata, Vice President, Brand at Air Canada. “We’re proud to share this moment with Disney fans and families who love the adventure of travel.”

The aircraft’s exterior will feature characters such as Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde, along with new characters Gary De’Snake and Nibbles Maplestick, plus the beloved sloth, Flash.

Quincy Kelman, Vice-President of Marketing for Walt Disney Studios Canada, said that the company is “thrilled to collaborate with Air Canada to bring the magic of ‘Zootopia 2’ to new heights”.

“As Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde return to the big screen, this collaboration invites fans to embark on an unforgettable journey where storytelling meets travel, celebrating the spirit of adventure that defines both Disney and Air Canada,” Kelman added.

The ‘Zootopia 2’-themed aircraft marks Air Canada’s third Disney-themed livery.

In November 2023, the airline revealed characters from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ ‘Wish’ emblazoned on one of its Boeing 787 Dreamliners, and in February 2022, the airline showcased an A220 livery featuring Disney / Pixar’s ‘Turning Red’.

Nor is the Canadian carrier the first to feature a ‘Zootopia 2’ -inspired livery on its aircraft. On October 28, 2025, China Airlines announced plans to launch Taiwan’s first-ever Disney-themed aircraft, also featuring designs from the new film.
