LATAM revamps long-haul business class service across the board

Latin American airline group LATAM has unveiled a comprehensive revamp of the service elements it offers on its long-haul business class.

Starting on December 1, 2025, passengers flying on LATAM’s “Premium Business” cabin will be able to enjoy a refreshed experience covering many of the journey touchpoints.

LATAM is introducing new amenity kits with cosmetics by Costa Brasil and an updated inflight food and drink offering, which includes three-course menus, an upgraded coffee experience and a redesigned cocktail collection.

The intangible elements of the passenger experience are also being updated, with the adoption of a new service protocol aimed at delivering more personalized attention to passengers.

But perhaps the most visually noticeable change will be the new color palette and visual identity, which will be based on three contrasting color blocks. These aim to convey a sense of Latin American identity by evoking the blue of the Pacific Ocean, the greens of the Amazon jungle and the warm earthy tones of the desert and Andes.

These changes are part of a broader effort by LATAM to consolidate its service standard credentials.

The airline group, which in recent months has won several accolades in this field, such as the Five-Star Global Airline rating from APEX and the Best Airline in South America at the Skytrax World Airline Awards, is also investing in revamping its long-haul cabins, and not only at the front of the cabin.

In 2024, LATAM announced a US$360 million project to refurbish 24 B787 aircraft and fit them with new business class cabins. The economy class cabin onboard LATAM’s Dreamliner fleet will also undergo a full revamp. This announcement was followed in August 2025, by the introduction of a new Premium Economy class, which will be a pioneer in its category in Latin America.
