Emirates has unveiled a new facility in Dubai designed to deliver an exceptional training experience for nearly 25,000 cabin crew members, centered on mastering hospitality excellence.
The $8 million training complex includes an expansive restaurant and lounge capable of accommodating up to 170 guests, plus presentation kitchens and eight technology-equipped classrooms.
According to the Dubai-based carrier, over 10,000 Emirates cabin crew are expected to complete training at the new center by the end of 2025.
Officially called the Emirates Centre of Hospitality Excellence, the facility houses a range of premium training service programs inspired by Michelin-star standards, covering fine dining procedures, high-level guest engagement, and sophisticated table service skills.
The launch follows a 2020 collaboration between Emirates and Switzerland’s Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne to create an enhanced hospitality framework.
The carrier has said that the training facility now serves to hone and motivate cabin crew to deliver Emirates’ four foundational hospitality values: excellence, attentiveness, innovation and passion.

The Centre of Hospitality Excellence represents the newest addition to Emirates’ cabin crew training facilities. In March 2025, the airline inaugurated a new Crew Zone at Emirates Group Headquarters in Dubai, dedicated around-the-clock space to cabin crew.
The Crew Zone offers educational workshops, technology areas, 24/7 staff assistance, a beauty and wellness center, an interactive lounge, and additional services supporting cabin crew needs.
Thomas Ney, Divisional Senior Vice President Service Delivery for Emirates said: “Emirates continues to uplift the ‘fly better’ experience for our valued customers. We have invested in the highest levels of luxury hospitality training for our cabin crew, enabling them to really relate to the customers they serve and create unforgettable signature moments.”
“We are delighted to provide our crew with immersive training, allowing them to personally sample the cuisine, the beverages, the ambiance and ultimately, the hospitality Emirates is renowned for. This is how we empower world class cabin crew,” Ney concluded.
