I hope everyone is having a nice weekend so far! I’ve been enjoying being home for a little over a week now, but have another adventure coming up soon. In the meantime, I’m happy to be making good progress on getting caught up with trip reports.
On the points & travel front, this week the Iran conflict continued to greatly impact the industry across the board, from airspace closures to high oil prices. On top of that, we saw American make basic economy much worse, airlines continued increasing checked bag fees, Marriott made the switch from Pepsi to Coke, Air Canada’s CEO “resigned,” Turkish Airlines’ CEO “retired,” and more.
