On October 2, 2025, Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer announced its latest set of delivery figures of new aircraft for the third quarter of 2025 (3Q25). The figures show a slight uptick in the number of new aircraft being handed over to customers, while the quarter was also a success for orders for new aircraft from new and existing customers.

In 3Q25, the planemaker delivered 62 new aircraft. The result represented a marginal increase over the 61 aircraft handed over in 2Q25 and the 59 jets that were delivered in 3Q24.

During 3Q25, 20 new commercial jets were delivered, with more than half of them (11 aircraft in total) being the next-generation E195-E2 models. The type is currently Embraer’s largest aircraft in production in the commercial aircraft segment. The company also delivered seven E175 small regional jets and two E190-E2s.

In the 3Q25 period, Embraer’s Commercial Aviation business unit outperformed 2Q25 as well as 3Q24, which recorded 19 and 16 deliveries, respectively.

In the first nine months of 2025, the company delivered 46 new commercial aircraft, which represents around 60% of the guidance figure of 77-85 aircraft for the full year. In the same period in 2024, 42 aircraft had been delivered, representing an increase of four units year-on-year.

Meanwhile, Embraer Executive Jets recorded 41 deliveries, compared with 38 jets delivered in 2Q25 and 41 in 3Q24. The highlight of the quarter was the Phenom 300, the fastest light jet in production and market leader for 13 consecutive years, with 20 units delivered. The unit also delivered three Phenom 100s.

In the midsize jet space, the company delivered 18 aircraft, including 11 Praetor 500s and seven Praetor 600s. The total figure for 3Q25 is up from 2Q25, when 38 jets were delivered, but equal to the same period in 2024, when 41 aircraft were also handed over. So far in 2025, the company has delivered 102 executive jets and is targeting a range of 145-155 aircraft for the whole of 2025.

In the defense and security sector,  the company delivered a single unit of its multi-mission military transport aircraft, the KC-390 Millennium. This is the only one of the type to be delivered so far in 2025. Two of the military aircraft were delivered in 3Q24, representing a slight drop in deliveries.

Orders keep coming

In 3Q25, Embraer marked a series of milestones in its history with more orders and new customers coming online. In August, Embraer entered into multiple Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with partners in Lithuania to expand long-term collaboration in the country’s aviation and defense sectors. Also, that same month, the company said that Morocco was close to finalizing a deal with Brazil’s Embraer for the purchase of four to five KC-390 Millennium tactical transport aircraft, a contract valued at around $600 million.

In September 2025, Virgin Australia took delivery of its first-ever Embraer E190-E2 aircraft at a handover ceremony at Embraer’s São José dos Campos facility in Brazil.

This was swiftly followed by Avelo Airlines announcing a firm order for 50 Embraer E195-E2 jets with purchase options for 50 more. The deal, worth $4.4 billion at list prices, positions Avelo as the first US airline to commit to Embraer’s E2 series jet and signals a turning point in the carrier’s strategy to sharpen its edge among US budget carriers. Deliveries of the Embraer jets are slated to start in the first half of 2027.

Rounding out the quarter, on September 22, 2025, LATAM Airlines Group announced a significant fleet renewal and expansion plan, confirming an order for up to 74 Embraer E195-E2 aircraft. The deal covers 24 firm orders with 50 options and is valued at around $2.1 billion at list prices. Deliveries of the first aircraft are scheduled to begin in the second half of 2026. The first jets will be operated by LATAM Airlines Brasil, with the possibility of later allocation to other affiliates across the region.
