AERO, the world’s leading trade show for General Aviation (GA), is approaching and promises to be an exciting event once again. This year AERO will take place from 22 to 25 April 2026 in Friedrichshafen, and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) will continue to play an active role in this unique show.

Come and visit our new EASA stand at AERO 2026 Friedrichshafen in Hall A5 at stand A5-300 from Wednesday, 22 April to Friday, 24 April (09:00-17:00) and on Saturday, 25 April (09:00-16:00). You will have the possibility to meet several EASA experts ready to answer your questions. More precise information on the availability of experts on site will be provided later.

Further EASA’s activities at AERO:
  • EASA GA Conference focusing on “Exploring simpler rules for safer GA” takes place on Thursday, 23 April at the AERO Conference Stage Foyer East. Entry is free and all are welcome to attend and discuss this important topic.  We will present the ongoing initiatives targeting a substantial reduction in administrative burdens for small and medium-sized enterprises over the next few years, with the aim of improving the competitiveness of the GA industry. Furthermore, alongside other national and international regulators, we will discuss from different perspectives the advantages and disadvantages of using declarations in general aviation today as an alternative to prior approvals.
The Agenda will be published soon. Stay tuned!

¡Conspicuity and ADS-L Focus Day on Friday, 24 April. Meet us and other partners at dedicated sessions to learn more about our collaboration on the prevention of mid-air collisions. We will be discussing how ¡Conspicuity for GA via ADS-L technology, which is compatible with the U-Space airspace mandate, enables affordable “Be Seen and Be Aware” for everyone, anywhere.
More information about the related events will be published soon.

  • AERO Career Days & EASA
The AERO Career Days will take place on Friday 24 and Saturday 25, April, in the Passage East as part of AERO Friedrichshafen 2026. Come and learn more about exciting careers in aviation at EASA.

Join the EASA GA Community, check out our Sunny Swift safety cartoons and meet us in Friedrichshafen!
