Dear Artificial Intelligence fans – EASA AI Days are back!
EASA will host the 4th edition of the high-level “EASA AI Days” Conference on September 9-10, 2026 at EASA’s premises in Cologne, Germany.
The conference will focus on the latest developments in Artificial Intelligence for aviation, including updates on EASA’s new Concept Paper on AI applications and ongoing rulemaking activities related to AI in aviation.
The programme will feature presentations and discussions on topics such as AI assurance, human factors in AI, and ethics-based assessment, alongside interactive workshops. Industry representatives will also share recent developments in areas including reinforcement learning, large language models, and knowledge-based AI technologies.
EASA AI Days 2026 will have a novelty: EASA will open the Conference to the best aviation industry AI cases on an EASA AI Olympics initiative, a great opportunity for you to present your practices to all participants – more details soon on how to apply to this initiative.
EASA will offer a welcome social event before the conference on September 8, starting at 19:00. There will also be a business dinner September 9 at 19:00. Let us know when enrolling if you want to join us for these.
Enrolment in the Conference will be needed if you want to attend in person in Cologne. In case you want to follow the Conference online (free of charge) you don’t need to enrol. Closer to the Conference date a link to the online participation will be disseminated in this webpage.
