Cirrus Aircraft reported it delivered 691 SR Series piston aircraft and a record 106 Vision Jets in 2025, extending its hold on the top spot in both the high-performance piston-single and personal jet segments.
The company said the SR Series, which includes the SR20, SR22, and SR22T, remained the best-selling high-performance single-engine piston aircraft for the 24th straight year, while the Vision Jet held its position as the best-selling jet in general aviation for the eighth consecutive year.
Cirrus also highlighted a broader push around product development, training, and owner services. The company pointed to the 2025 launch of the SR Series G7+ with Garmin’s Safe Return Emergency Autoland, a move it said made the SR Series the first single-engine piston aircraft with an FAA-approved autonomous emergency landing system. Passengers can activate the system with the push of a button, after which the airplane can communicate, navigate, and land at what the technology determines is the most suitable airport.
The G7+ also brought several other additions, including Automatic Database Updates, Runway Occupancy Awareness, and Smart Pitot Heat. Cirrus said all of its aircraft now offer what it described as a total safety solution built around the Cirrus Airframe Parachute System, Safe Return Emergency Autoland and Perspective Touch+ avionics system.
Beyond the aircraft themselves, Cirrus said it expanded in 2025 with new training and ownership offerings. Those included a new Cirrus Approach app, a new instrument rating program, and additional Vision Jet training capability in Scottsdale, Arizona, through a new full-flight recurrent training simulator. On the ownership side, the company rolled out an update to its Cirrus IQ app, including Cirrus IQ PRO, and launched Cirrus Next, a program aimed at streamlining aircraft upgrades and trade-ins for existing owners.
Cirrus Aircraft CEO Zean Nielsen said the company is continuing to build on its position in personal aviation through a mix of new product development, expanded ownership support, and added services designed to strengthen the customer experience. Cirrus also said it is investing in an expansion of its Grand Forks, North Dakota, manufacturing facility and has opened a location in McKinney, Texas, to support aircraft sales, management, and flight training.
