Copenhagen and Oslo airports resumed operations on September 23, 2025, after drone sightings forced the suspension of air traffic the previous evening, according to police and airport officials.  Copenhagen airport closure  Copenhagen Airport (CPH) confirmed that all takeoffs and landings were halted from 20:26 local time (18:26 GMT) on September 22, 2025, after “three or four large drones” were reported flying near the facility. CNBC is reporting that Spirit Airlines will be furloughing 1,800 flight attendants in its latest attempt to cut costs. December 1, 2025, following a period of voluntary leaves, which will begin on November 1. The airline says the move is necessary to align staffing with its reduced flight schedule and shrinking aircraft operations. Uzbekistan Airways, the national airline of the Republic of Uzbekistan, has announced that it will acquire up to 22 Boeing 787 Dreamliners, which is the single largest order from Boeing in the airline’s history.  This includes a confirmed order for 14 787-9s, with options for eight more aircraft, Uzbekistan Airways and Boeing confirmed in separate statements on September 22, 2025.
