Air China Cargo plans to order up to ten Airbus A350F aircraft to enhance its fleet and help the company meet market demand. The freighter is expected to enter service by the end of 2027, with deliveries to Air China Cargo expected between 2029 and 2031. This will be good news for Airbus, as it adds to the manufacturer’s order book after some potential A350F customers canceled their orders. The United States has revoked approval for 13 routes operated by Mexican air carriers and suspended all combined passenger and cargo flights by Mexican airlines from Mexico City’s new Felipe Angeles International Airport (NLU), escalating a dispute over air transport rights between the two countries.  US Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy said that Mexico had “illegally canceled and froze US carrier flights for three years without consequences” and that Washington would now “hold them accountable,” according to Reuters. Virgin Australia has introduced the first brand-new aircraft to Western Australia’s charter market this century with the entry into service of its first Embraer E190-E2 aircraft ‘Coral Bay’ (VH-E2A). The aircraft completed its inaugural commercial flight (VA9217) operated by Virgin Australia Regional Airlines (VARA) from Perth to Boolgeeda on Monday. Coral Bay is the first of eight E190-E2s that Virgin has on order with Embraer. VARA is acquiring them as replacements for its aging fleet of Fokker 100s, all of which are more than 30 years old. NASA and Lockheed Martin Skunk Works have successfully flown the X-59 quiet supersonic research aircraft for the very first time after almost a decade of development.  The X-59, also known as X-59 QueSST, took off on October 28, 2025, from Skunk Works’ facility at US Air Force Plant 42 in Palmdale, California.
