Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) has re-opened, and a United Airlines jet has been secured, after a security threat to an incoming flight earlier today. The airport’s control tower received a call saying that there was a bomb aboard Flight 512 from Houston George Bush Intercontinental Airport. The airport immediately initiated a full ground stop, halting all arrivals and departures for approximately 90 minutes. On November 4, 2025, a Gulf Air Boeing 787-9 operating Gulf Air Flight 155 from Manila (MNL) to Bahrain (BAH) inadvertently entered Manila’s active Runway 06 while taxiing before departure, prompting a swift and decisive response from air traffic control, which instructed an arriving aircraft on short final to execute a go-around while directing the Gulf Air jet to vacate at the next turnoff. A U.S. Air Force B-52H Stratofortress has been captured while flying over the Owens Valley, California, with two units of an unidentified weapon under its right wing. Romania has formally taken ownership of 18 F-16 Fighting Falcons from the Netherlands, completing the transfer of aircraft already operating at the European F-16 Training Center (EFTC) in Fetești.  The intergovernmental agreement was signed in Bucharest on November 3, 2025, by Brigadier General Ion-Cornel Pleșa of the Romanian Ministry of Defense and Linda Ruseler of the Dutch Ministry of Finance, in the presence of Romanian Defense Minister Liviu-Ionuț Moșteanu and Dutch Ambassador Willemijn van Haaften.  Moșteanu said the contract marks “the completion of a significant stage” in the development of the EFTC, adding that the center has become “a European hub for all states that operate or plan to operate the F-16.”  …
