Qantas has announced the launch of a new cabin product called ‘Economy Plus’ to start February 2026, offering passengers more legroom and additional perks on domestic and short-haul international routes. On October 19, Etihad Airways introduced the Airbus A350-1000 between Abu Dhabi and Sydney. While that variant currently does not exclusively operate the route, it became Australia’s sole A350-1000-operated service, at least for now.
