According to SriLankan Airlines, the operators have signed an agreement to “reinforce the long-standing relationship between the two national flag carriers”. The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) has released its final report on the aborted takeoff of a Delta Air Lines Boeing 757-300 at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) on January 10, 2025. The takeoff was aborted due to a failure of engine number two.
